Power to the People-Gluten Free & Allergen Free Expo Phoenix

GFAF managed to wow the Valley again. This year's expo was chocked full of booths and vendors sharing samples and knowledge. The event was a one day expo this year, unlike last

year's two day expo. The lines moved quickly, and we were spoiled with so many samples that I had no room for dinner that evening. The variety of local and national vendors also stood out more this year. We make a point of attending the GF&AF Expo, as quite a few of our followers are parents/caregivers of kiddos diagnosed special needs with food allergy challenges. Food allergies is a number one topic amongst our community. I actually talked to families(at the GF&AF Expo) who have testimonies about how their whole world changed, based on modifying their diet. Knowledge and insight is empowering. The power to control how, what and why we need to eat certain foods allows one to break things(nutrition) down to the most basic level. I honestly think that when we shop, and look at food/nutrition from a wellness perspective, we tend to refrain from buying so much junk. Valuing the impact of how food affects us is the mission of GFAF Expo.
